I thought about adding the whole album, but it's an hour and 13 minutes long. It's definitely a nice one to just kick back in a comfortable chair and zone out with.

This particular track is... well, I first heard it at a particular moment in my life and it's stuck with me ever since as something quite comforting, in an odd sort of way.

I think she might still be a thing...

I always liked the music video for this (Katie Melua's The Flood if youtube is being a bitch again), but the song itself kind of stuck with me for a long while too. It's melancholy, but hopeful somehow. The sort of mood that always grabs me.

I wrote a bit. Kind of. More accurately I rewrote an outline, but I did so because I'd realised that I was trying to force myself into a dead-end, trying to tell a story about something that wasn't actually part of the story, if you see what I mean? I blame the fact that all my blood fell out. It's still a little odd, looking back and realising how much of a mental fog I'd been living in (more than a few people said I was acting like I had dementia afterwards).
